USE DIRECTIONS:

Read Precautions First - Wear Rubber Gloves - Then Follow These Simple Directions
  1. Surface must be COOL and DRY.
  2. Pour CARBON KLEEN® into small container, then brush a generous coating with a hair bristle brush.
  3. Leave CARBON KLEEN® on the surface for 15 minutes, or up to 8 hours, depending on the thickness of the carbon.  You may leave it on overnight.  CARBON KLEEN® will not harm any metal surface regardless of how long it is left on the surface.
  4. Do not scrub.  CARBON KLEEN® forms a seal.  Scrubbing will break that seal and CARBON KLEEN® will not work effectively.
  5. Test with a small stick to see if carbon is completely loose before washing.  Then wash off under COLD tap water using a sponge or brush if necessary while rinsing.  (Do not use hot water).  After rinsing, wash the surface throughly with warm soapy water before using.
  6. CARBON KLEEN® may also be used to clean the inside of an appliance.  Again, wash and rinse throughly before reuse.
FOR LARGER OPERATIONS...

CARBON KLEEN T-5®, unlike regular CARBON KLEEN®, has the density of water and is designed to be used in dip tanks.  Available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.

OVENS:  Preheat oven to approximately 250°F.  Cut off heat source.   Spray HOT'N FOAMY® generously on heated surfaces.  Let stand 15 to 30 seconds, then wipe clean with a wet cloth or sponge.  Use vinegar and water solution for rinse (one cup vinegar per gallon of water).   HOT'N FOAMY® may be left on longer depending on the surface condition.  On a stubborn hard-to-clean area, leave on 3-5 minutes.  Repeat if necessary.
GRILLS:  Heat to approximately 250°F.  Cut off heat source.  Spray immediately with HOT'N FOAMY®. Let stand 15-30 seconds, then rinse with vinegar and water solution (one cup vinegar per gallon of water).  On stubborn hard-to-clean areas, let stand 3-5 minutes.   Repeat if necessary.  After rinse, re-oil grill surfaces immediately while warm to prevent rusting and sticking.  Use new cooking oil or food release.
ROTISSERIES:  Make sure surfaces to be cleaned are approximately 250°F.  Cut off heat source.  Remove accessories (rotor discs, splits, baskets, drain pans, etc.) to sink area and spray with HOT'N FOAMY® while still hot and let stand until finished cleaning rotisserie.  To clean rotisserie, spray HOT'N FOAMY® thoroughly inside and out.  Also spray both sides of glass rotisserie door.  Let stand 15-30 seconds, then wipe clean with a wet cloth or sponge.  Use vinegar and water solution for rinse (one cup vinegar per gallon of water).  HOT'N FOAMY® may be left on longer depending on the surface condition.  On a stubborn hard-to-clean area, leave on 3 to 5 minutes.  Repeat if necessary.
DEEP FAT FRYERS:  Drain shortening from fryer.   Immediately spray throughly with HOT'N FOAMY® while the fryer is still hot (should be approximately 250°F).  Let stand 15 to 30 seconds, then wipe clean with a wet cloth or sponge.  Use vinegar and water solution for rinse (one cup vinegar per gallon of water).  HOT'N FOAMY® may be left on longer depending on the surface condition.  On a stubborn hard-to-clean area, leave on 3 to 5 minutes.  Repeat if necessary.  Heavy deposits require an application of CARBON KLEEN® when the fryer is cold.
